Reading Art: Historical to Contemporary

Description: Works of art are filled with stories to tell. We'll explore a variety of themes by looking closely at images that evoke rhythm and motion, compose the picture plane, challenge beauty, and bring everyday life and nature into focus. This conversational-style class features a diversity of artists and includes short videos to enrich the discussion.
Instructor: Lynn Berkowitz, MFA, BFA, has a career in art museums, & developed an array of award-winning gallery tours, experiences, and apps aimed at helping audiences of all ages and abilities engage with a diversity of artists, ‘isms, and approaches.
