Description: Chris will focus on the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust’s (PERT) mission to foster habitat for birds, insects, and other wildlife, in addition to the health of the Pennypack watershed. Chris will talk about the restoration plans and efforts underway for three newly preserved parcels and provide some insights on restoration practices specifically geared towards enhancing songbird habitat. PERT is part of the Important Bird Area and a regular destination for many birders!

The Wyncote Audubon Society is a Chapter of the National Audubon Society serving the nearly 2000 Audubon members who reside in major portions of Montgomery County and Philadelphia including Chestnut Hill, East Falls, Manayunk, Mt. Airy, Roxborough, North Philadelphia and Northeast Philadelphia.
