In light of the recent devastation to sections of Upper Dublin Township, we are excited to announce Primex Garden Center (Glenside) and Shreckhise Nurseries are making a donation of one hundred 15-gallon shade and ornamental trees to residents affected by Hurricane Ida.

In coordination with the Upper Dublin Township Shade Tree Commission, Primex will provide these trees through a lottery system at no cost to the Upper Dublin residents of zip codes 19002 and 19034.  In order to qualify, residents must have lost one or more trees during the storm.  Lottery registration is required at  You can register once per household for each of the six types of trees available; however, only one tree will be distributed per household.

Please note, registered households will be chosen at random through a lottery system; you are not guaranteed a tree if registered.  The lottery will take place on Wednesday, October 20 and you will be notified that day whether or not you were randomly chosen to receive a tree.

If you are chosen, trees must be picked up on Saturday, October 23 between 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Upper Dublin Library (520 Virginia Drive).  Please note: trees vary in height from 5 to 8 feet and weigh approximately 50 to 60 pounds.

We thank Primex Garden Center and Shreckhise Nurseries for their generous donation and assistance in restoring trees to Upper Dublin Township.
